    ISO 11076:2006 establishes the minimum requirements for aircraft de-icing/anti-icing methods on the ground, in accordance with the ICAO Manual of aircraft ground de-icing/anti-icing operations and relevant national regulations, to facilitate the safe operation of transport aircraft during icing conditions. This International Standard does not specify requirements for specific aircraft model types. Frost, ice or snow deposits, which can seriously affect the aerodynamic performance and/or controllability of an aircraft, are effectively removed by the application of the procedures specified in ISO 11076:2006. De-icing/anti-icing by mechanical means is not covered by this International Standard.

    Proximity space links are defined to be short-range, bi-directional, fixed or mobile radio links, generally used to communicate among probes, landers, rovers, orbiting constellations, and orbiting relays. These links are characterized by short time delays, moderate (not weak) signals, and short, independent sessions. ISO 21459:2006 defines the coding and synchronization sublayer of the Proximity-1 space link protocol. It defines the data unit of this sublayer, i.e. the PLTU. It defines the coding and synchronization mechanisms required for cross support. It also specifies the send and receive side functionality of this sublayer. ISO 21459:2006 does not specify individual implementations or products, implementation of service interfaces within real systems, methods or technologies required to perform the procedures, or management activities required to configure and control the protocol.

ISO 21460:2006 does not specify individual implementations or products, implementation of service interfaces within real systems, methods or technologies required to perform the procedures, or management activities required to configure and control the protocol.

    The Forward Space Packet (FSP) service is a Space Link Extension (SLE) transfer service that enables a mission to send Space Packets to a spacecraft in sequence-controlled or expedited mode. ISO 22672:2006 defines, in an abstract manner, the FSP service in terms of the operations necessary to provide the transfer service; the parameter data associated with each operation; the behaviours that result from the invocation of each operation; the relationship between, and the valid sequence of, the operations and resulting behaviours. It does not specify individual implementations or products; the implementation of entities or interfaces within real systems; the methods or technologies required to radiate Space Packets to a spacecraft and to acquire telemetry frames from the signals received from that spacecraft for extraction of the Operational Control Field; the methods or technologies required for communications; the management activities necessary to schedule, configure, and control the FSP service.

    ISO 23935:2006 specifies the requirements for tests which may be applied to all fluid system components located in zones designated as "fire zones" and built to satisfy the minimum level specified for withstanding fire. It does not relate to withstanding fire outside designated fire zones, nor to flammability requirements, or to those conditions induced by the flame coming from the combustion chamber.
