3899. Charnley, W. Feb. 16. Materials for making beverages.-The residue after the extraction of oil from soya beans is used in the manufacture of malt and spirituous liquors. The residue may be ground, and cooked by being heated to about 600? F. The product may be heated under pressure with a small quantity of malt before addition to the main mash.
